With the cooler months quickly approaching, many people are in need of warm clothing. One of the most requested items is socks. This year, the Fisher School District will be participating in a week-long event called Socktober. Next week (Oct. 10-13), there will be boxes available for students to donate adult sized socks to help the homeless in Champaign-Urbana! If you would like to participate, please send socks with any student, or drop them off at either school building!

Ms. Williams nutrition class volunteered at Eastern Illinois Food Bank’s Operation Orange repack today! The students worked so hard and saw how it is possible to serve 38,000 people per month with 1 million pounds of food.
