Fisher High School students participated in the 2022 Special Olympics Polar Plunge. The Minions brought home 1st place for Costumes! Way to “Be Bold, Get Cold”!



First Graders enjoyed the FFA Petting Zoo and Tractor Day!

Congrats to Mrs. Angela Van Deven for being awarded the Empowering Education Grant from Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative. Mrs. Van Deven is using the $500 grant towards her project “Reading With Dyslexia”. The grant money is being used to purchase tools for this project with her class. A HUGE shout out to Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative for their generosity!

Jr High Students spent the week raising $550 and collecting supplies for the Champaign Humane Society.

We are so very proud of some of our 6th grade block art students whose work got recognized in Parkland College’s Celebrate the Arts Youth Art Competition. Grace Pierce got first place and Kylah Sparks received an Honorable Mention. Their work was recognized in the Parkland virtual award ceremony earlier this week. Way to go, ladies!



While snow may be on the ground outside, horticulture class has spring fever in the greenhouse. They are transplanting plants for the plant sale starting Mother’s Day weekend.





Fisher Jr/Sr High School achieved an exemplary rate of financial aid applications completed by the class of 2021! Thank you to our outstanding guidance counselor Mrs. Hamby for supporting our students and families through the financial aid process!!!


I am so proud of my HS Scholastic Bowl Varsity and JV teams. Both had such a great season!
