
The 6th Graders had a perfect day at the U of I Engineering Open House. Today was a great way to showcase all the amazing ways science is seen in our everyday lives. The students are so inspired to get started on their very own project for the upcoming FGS Science Fair! Thank you to all the amazing parents and kiddos that made it possible! 🧑🔬🐰

Thank you to Illinois Senator Chapin Rose for being a wonderful host to several Fisher students who attended his 2025 Spring Youth Advisory Committee meeting today. The students even had the opportunity to speak with a lobbyist or two.




Congratulations to Peyton Bleichner and Zaidyn Rodriguez for winning this year's Fisher P.I.E. Little Caesars fundraiser for the Jr. High end-of-the-year celebration. They were able to choose a friend and went out to lunch at Taco Bell today.


Fisher Band Students went on a field trip to Chicago to see the Iowa state University Wind Ensemble and the Iowa Wind Symphony perform. What an inspiring night of music!





Holy Molee! Those are some great-looking moles created by Fisher students as a fun way to represent the mole, a unit of measurement for small entities such as atoms.

Can high school students boil water? FHS students are about to prove it in their inquiry lab on phase changes!

Fisher High School National Honors Society will be hosting a dodge ball fundraiser for the Eastern Illinois Food Bank. It will be hosted on April 12 starting at 12:30 in the Fisher High School gym. While the 8th graders at FJHS might be at Elevate Trampoline Park, the 7th graders are celebrating Pi Day (3.14) by making pudding pies!
