The Fisher Junior High 7th grade US History class spent the day at Cahokia Mounds walking through time and the ancient history of the Mississippian people. We learned and played "Chunky" an ancient stone and spear game, and climbed Monks Mound.

The 8th Grade field trip to Springfield, including a Statehouse tour with special attention to the murals, Lincoln's tomb, and the Illinois African American Museum, was recently featured in "Illinois Heritage" a publication of the Illinois State Historical Society.
Shoutout to our amazing 6th grade students who spend the morning teaching our school-wide expectations to our K-5 students!

2nd grade teachers will be hosting a SUPPLY DROP OFF on Monday, August 12. It is open house style from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
This is designed for students and families to drop off any or all supplies they do not want to carry on the first day, and meet their awesome teachers!
If you are unable to attend, don't worry! Send in everything on Wednesday and we will get organized then! So excited for another amazing year! 🥳
