We are excited to announce that Fisher Grade School PIE -Partners in Education will be hosting a Back-to-School Fall Carnival for students and family this coming fall on Friday, August 19th.
PIE needs your help with the planning stages. We are looking for volunteers to serve on the planning committee and day of event.

Congratulations to the HS Academic Challenge members who competed in their Sectional competition on Wednesday.
And a special congratulations to the individual winners: Hanna Laible-Seif received 3rd place in BOTH chemistry and physics; Cassandra Marry received 3rd place in Engineering Graphics; and Daniel Bein received 2nd place in English.
As a varsity team, they placed 4th overall and the team will move on to the State competition.

Congrats to Mrs. Angela Van Deven for being awarded the Empowering Education Grant from Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative. Mrs. Van Deven is using the $500 grant towards her project “Reading With Dyslexia”. The grant money is being used to purchase tools for this project with her class. A HUGE shout out to Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative for their generosity!
